Forgot that Chantry Flats was closed so endeavored to take the long way up to Mt Wilson.    Like a madman I didn’t begin this 15 mile 5000+ feet monster until 2:20p.  I had my headlamp, so resigned myself to descending after nightfall.  This one pushed me to the limit.   7 miles of relentless climbing gave way to incredible views of the LA basin.  This was the third peak I climbed in 7 days, after bagging Strawberry Peak last Saturday and Baden-Powell on Monday.  Pleased with my progress and getting ready to take on some of the highest peaks in the challenge in the coming weeks.
