We are finishing off the Colorado Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge on the highest peak in Colorado: Mount Elbert!
This hike is 11.3 miles out-and-back with 5,114 feet of climbing to the 14,440′ summit of Elbert. We are taking the Black Cloud Trail off Highway 82 (5.3 miles west of the White Star Campground at Twin Lakes).
Plan for another long day, with plenty of water and food to fuel your body on this hike.
