  • Can’t log hikes after finishing?

Posted by Phil on August 16, 2025 at 1:58 pm

After finishing the 6 pack 2 months ago I wanted to hike the last 2 on the list, but the challenge doesn’t show up on my list anymore. I also never got any digital certificate or anything saying I finished other than the badge on my dashboard. Are you supposed to be locked out once you finish your first 6?

I’ve had the same experience as last few weeks, I just messaged Jeff and he quickly took care of it. I couldn’t access on my dashboard on the challenge page on my logs or anything none of my challenges were showing up except one that I hadn’t even registered for. All good now, Jeff helped me within 24 hours. Good luck Phil I hope you get it resolved

We are still chasing down a problem with the ā€œLog My Hikeā€ page, but you CAN log your hikes from the Dashboard.

Certificates have not been sent out yet for SoCal.

Thanks Jeff! The dashboard did work for Arizona Summer. Thanks again!

Hi Phil, we fixed this issue this morning. You can now see your challenge and log hikes from the “Log My Hike” page. ????

Is this still an ongoing issue? I am unable to log my hikes from any part of the app. Many times now I have deleted the app & redownloaded it, I logged out & back in, refreshed…nothing fixed the issue.

Hi Amber! No, this is not an ongoing issue, but there is a separate issue with the Social Hikers app. For now, use the website. You can do everything that you can do on the app via the website (even on your phone).

I’ve shared an update on the app that says the same thing, and I’ll post another update when we get the app working properly again (not this week).

I’m trying to log my last two hikes for AZ Summer 2025 via website and it gives me an error ā€œ400ā€. I gave up trying the app because I’ve never had success with it. ???? Is the website down?

Hi Amber! We are working on the hike log system today and I’ve posted a note at the top of the website to that effect. No worries though — you’l have time to log your remaining hikes! I’ll post an updated note on the site and send out an email to all subscribers when you’re good-to-go.

GOOD NEWS! You can log your hikes again, including those for the 2026 Arizona Winter challenge!
Thanks for your patience as we tuned up for the upcoming year. See you outside!
