Holy Spam-bot, Batman!
Well I guess it’s a sign of popularity(?) but we got hit with our first spam-bot today. Many of you reported receiving suspicious-looking private messages from a user in Australia. (Thanks to all who reported this).
The offending user has been deleted. Also, your personal information remains secure.
And we’ve put into place an additional approval step for new users, so we can hopefully catch the spammers before they start.
Let’s hope this doesn’t happen again!
