Does anyone have a recommendation to hike Mount Tam that doesn’t start in Stinson… but starts on the east/south/north side? Trying to avoid driving all of the way to Stinson Beach.

You could take the Dipsea Trail. It connects with the campground halfway up, and from there you could take the old railway trail.

The Railroad Grade Trail gets there from Mill Valley.
