Picked up my first pair of mountaineering boots last night. Scarpa Charmoz. I’ll be using them for an AIARE course in Bishop next week, and Mount Shasta in June.
Why are all mountaineering boots so ugly?!

Nice boot, I have the Salewa, hoping to get on to Telescope Peak (DVNP) on Sunday. Fingers crossed!
