Mt Wilson Overnight?
I am starting mt 2025 challenge for 6 peaks socal. It seems to me that Mt Wilson is only a day hike. Is there anything overnight trip where i can camp and hike to the summit? Thank you.

Sturtevant camp you could rent a cabin but I donāt think they are open yet. Just before you get there, there is a campground called spruce Grove. Not sure if itās open after the fires. Also if you do the toll road to Mt. Wilson, there is hennenger flats. But that is about 2 miles from the road with 6 or 7 to the summit.

There is dispersed camping up there for sure! I remember seeing sites on my last hike. If you do the Mt Wilson Loop trail or from Chandra Flats, there is camping on the eastern side of the loop. The sites are shown on the onX Backcountry app.

I have overnighted a Hoegee Trail Camp many times on my Mount Wilson treks. Start a Chantry Flats Parking Lot and take advantage of Adams Pack Station too. FYI there are bears!
