Short notice hike NorCal tomorrow (June 15)
I have a bit of free time in my work schedule tomorrow (friday, June 15) and may do a morning trip to Mission Peak, to avoid the crazy weekend crowds…or maybe Mt Um. Ping me if you’re interested. I haven’t been to Mission Peak in YEARS, but I used to do it regularly, when I first moved to the area a few decades ago. (We used to do Mission Peak in the dark, during a full moon, and one time to watch the various 4th of July fireworks across the Bay Area. Walking up to a cow on the trail, in the dark, is creepy. The park is now closed at night, but it was legal back then!)
It would be something like 8AM at the trailhead, but I’m flexible. (Check “Ambassadors” if you want to know more about me. My speed is “Moderate”)
