  Total distance 10.7 miles

  Ascent: 2562 ft

  Time to summit 2:38

  Leaving just after dawn the weather was nice and cool. The ascent was tough, this was a second stop on a 2 day trip to northern Az, I thought we left the easy one for the second day but I was wrong. Tough but very rewarding hike, the views are amazing from the opposite side of the mountain. My pup was tuckered out by the end. You can read my full log on the AZ summer challenge page.
