We had the best weather conditions and entire trail to ourselves. We started around 7:50 am, it was foggy, cool, no bugs, trail was damp

Beats cleaning the garage. Didn’t plan on a hike today, but thought about my options and decided to pack my gear for a hike instead

This was not my favorite. I think it would have been better in spring. The last mile through the forested trail was the best part.
