Tough hike but incredible views
Lisa and I were fortunate enough to get parking in the third parking lot on Columbus weekend. We were able to hike the Birchtoft trail.

I will agree with others that the 1st 2.5 miles are hard as f-/k. After that it’s gentle and you’re allowed to appreciate its beauty

Hiked the PCT from Santiam Pass to McKenzie Pass with side trip to the top of Belknap Crater.
