We got to the Chantry Flat parking at 6:15am, but parking was already full. We did some research and found we could do hike starting at Mt. Wilson Trailhead. We started at Mt. Wilson Treailhead at 7:45am and got to the top around 2pm. We started back down between 3 – 3:30pm and finished around 7:45-8pm. We were grateful to meet George who had hiked Mt Wilson 50 times and agreed to be our trail guide. The weather was perfect although of course it got colder when the sun set. It was definitely challenging going up, coming down was better while we had light but once the sunset got challenging again
