Overnight Wind and Cold…

Cool morning…parking lot at 7am on Friday…saddle at 9amish…peak 1pm for lunch. 4.5 liters of water / Gatorade …enough for cooking / coffee…micro-spikes for the north face for both the ascent and decent. Extremely windy and cold overnight.

    Joan and I have camped atop Cucamonga in late September. It was super windy and cold then. I can only imagine how cold it was this time of year. Any idea how low the temperature got?

    Not quite freezing…but with the wind chill it probably was…I insulted my hydration bladder just to be sure and it did not freeze!! Also forgot to mention a lot static electricity…strange???
