I did this hike with a group for the 3-2-1 Hiking Challenge (3peaks, 2 counties,1day)
We started at the trailhead around 4:45Am. It was all dark, so we all have our headlights and micro spikes on. The trail is mostly covered in snow. Some areas have loose snow about knee high. Sawmill was pretty windy. Micro spikes a must and trekking poles highly recommended. Going through the 3 peaks up and down the hill made this hike more challenging, especially on the way back. Beautiful view.
