What a surprise.  I had not been in that area for 30 years and it was beautiful.  We started 5:30 wish and hiked up in morning shadow.  Saddle was beautiful.  I can imaging that is a nice hike by itself.  The peak was fantastic.  Weather perfect if you like puffy clouds.
