Ontario Peak was my 3rd peak that day. After summitting both Cucamonga Peak and Bighorn my group and I headed to Ontario Peak from Bighorn. I've never gone to Ontario Peak from Bighorn, so it made the hike both exciting and interesting for me. Something different, you know? After dealing with a lot of snow going to Cucamonga, there wasn't as much snow going to Ontario. There was some, and I did put on my spikes at one point, but it wasn't anything crazy. After a handful of false peaks, we made it to the actual peak and I thoroughly enjoyed eating my lunch, snapping a few photos, and taking a rest. The view wasn't great since there were so many clouds, but the sky was blue and I still found it all to be very beautiful. The way back down seemed long, but I was pretty tired. Doing all 3 peaks made for a long day, but totally worth it! I logged it at about 17.5 miles round trip.
