Now this was a challenge! I didn't know what i was getting myself into with this 6 pack challenge but man this trail was a mission. Left Pasadena around 5am , arrived in Palm Springs around 6:30 ish , started hike around 6:45am ish and finished hike around 1:57pm ish around 7 hours to complete “Cactus to Clouds” route. Starting at the museum was already going straight up in elevation and it didn't let up for 9 miles to the tram , and then even more incline for the next 5 miles to the top! Legs were destroyed , contemplated my fitness and felt like stopping. But was able to reach the top, rest for 5 mins and then started to run down 5-6 miles back to the tram yo make it back down. Something i will never forget.
