Hiking on a Tuesday is awesome! We arrived at the parking lot just before 9:30am. There were only about 6 cars in the lot. Awesome! We began the hike at 9:35am and only encountered 8 people. Awesome! The trail is moderate until the last .5 miles. It’s no joke! Ooph! But we scrambled up and made it to the peak. On the scramble up, we were both better off without the poles. They got in the way. We were the only people at the peak and enjoyed it alone for 45 gorgeous minutes.
We scrambled back down without poles and enjoyed the peaceful hike back to the car.
