A beautiful day with perfect weather for this hike! The wind was chilly at the Wellman divide and a little cool at the summit, but otherwise I hiked in a t-shirt. We saw very few people on the way up, but met a few nice hikers at the summit and traded photo ops. There was a large backpacker group on the way down. The hike felt great, nothing was overly challenging, the woods are beautiful and it was a great time. I was a little worried about the late start (first tram was 10am) but it never got hot and we made the hike in 5 hours moving time. This was my second time doing this hike and I'd like to work up to the Marion Mountain route – I just love San Jacinto, it's my favorite peak. (So far.)

This completes the 6-pack for me and my hiking buddy, but we've decided to keep it up. Of course!
