Thanks to the recent rain, it was such a beautifully clear day.
Trail wasn't too crowded, and weather was cool, warmer in the sunny parts of the trail.
Made some friends with some Minnesotans, one of whom was of course in shorts, and two local folks that I told about the challenge.
I didn't bring the doggo because I was worried about her getting up the last part, which can be a bit of a scramble. In hindsight, I think she would have been fine. (I hear the Colby Canyon route is a bit of a mess)
Overall, just grateful to be out in our beautiful state!
