This is #5/6. Started at 6am and there were already several cars on the nicely updated parking lot. We were barely above the clouds and it promised to be a beautiful day.  We warmed up pretty quickly and were happy there were nice breezes. We came across 4 downed trees and they were easy to navigate. Although I did get a bit dirty sliding down one particular tree. So fun! I love the flag at the summit, my favorite part for sure. We even met a fellow SoCal Hiker! We decided to bump it up a notch and continued to Mt. Burnham. It was so pretty and peaceful for a bit. Birds singing, wonderful smells, yummy lunch. Ahhh. Someone even made a tiny snowman in a little patch of snow.  So cute!! It was a very good day.
