4/30/2022:

I finally revisted Mount Wilson after a four hiatus.  On a beautiful sunny Saturday, I hiked up to Mount Wilson with 213 Hikers and 3H Hiking Group.  This was my first time using the Mount Wilson Trail at Sierra Madre.  Right off the bat, I was faced with steepness.  It was all about elevation gains on this trail.  I steady paced myself.  I was very relieved to see a saddle that was 3.5 miles from Mount Wilson Peak.  I took a short break here.  Then ot was back to elevation gains again.  There were four sketchy sections on the Mount Wilson Trail.  As I saw the radio antennas, I was so relieved.  I was very close to the peak.  Then I saw the Cosmic Cafe.  It was opened for business   I rested and ate lunch at the Cosmic Cafe.  Then I walked to the outer edges of Mount Wilson.  My hike wasn't complete without a photo at the railings from the Dome.  After taking my photos, I headed down the peak.  Coming back down was much easier and faster.

Woohoo! Mount Wilson Peak done.
