Today's hike up Sutton Mountain was a great start to this year's Six Pack of Peaks. I had the privilege of hiking with my daughter and our two dogs. The weather was gorgeous at 65 degrees – no coat needed! We felt sure that we would encounter an extremely muddy trail, but it was mostly dry. We had the whole place to ourselves and didn't see one single person out there. We enjoyed the beauty and the peace and quiet. The only sounds we heard were the sounds of birds chirping happily and a symphony of frogs. It was an incredible day!

Love that it was mostly dry! I’m hiking this in a few weeks, so hoping to catch some wildflowers.
It was a pleasant surprise! So far, I only noticed one type of wildflower blooming, but in a few weeks I imagine there will be a lot more! Happy hiking!
