This was definitely a hike and day to remember. I have previously hiked Flatiron once before, but this time was even more memorable with the climate changes throughout the entire hike. The day before it had rained in the valley, but it actually snowed on Flatiron. So during this epic hike we encountered waterfalls, ice, fog, snow, and even got snowed on at the very top. It was magical! We could not see the bottom or the views when we first got to the top. However, about 20 minutes enjoying our hard work and getting ready to head down, the fog started to blow over and the sun made an appearance so we could take in the views. It truly was an amazing experience hiking with friends and even celebrating a friend’s birthday at the top. This day will be hard to top.
