We made it our last hike and the best for one for last.
We got there very early at 5:30am and started hiking at 6am with it still dark and headlamp in tow we started our final hike.
you first cross the creek which when it has been raining would be a big no no, but fortunately it was dry, immediately once over the other side you make an immediate climb up hill which can be very hard, about a mile in it will start to level out with slight inclines
It was a sunny day but the wind was very high and causing it to be very cold so be sure to check the weather before leaving.
As we got nearer the top the winds got stronger and colder but once at the top it was worth it, thankfully there’s some rock shelter to hide behind from the wind and recovery and have a well deserved coffee and food like we did, it was a very clear day able to see a lot.
