This was my second time at Cuyamaca Peak. The first time was on 12/26/21 and it was cold and foggy with pretty much zero visibility at the summit. Today we hiked it again for the 2022 San Diego six pack of peaks challenge. Clouds rolled in about the same time we did. The weather was cool and made the walk up comfortable. The only bad part was visibility at the summit was pretty much zero. Quite a few hikers on the trail today. It was still a great hike even thought visibility was poor. Entire hike took about 2 hours and 15 minutes.

  1. I think we saw you on the trail today! You passed us going down bc your dog had to ‘go 100 miles per hour’ haha

    1. Yep, that was us! HAHAHA! When its time to head back she doesn’t mess around. Are you doing the six pack of peaks challenge?

        1. Nice! We decided to knock out El Cajon Mountain today. Man, It’s a beautiful view but it is one tuff hike. I wish you guys the best of luck on your Six Pack of Peaks Challenge. I’m sure you guys will crush it!
