Great weather for the hike, partly overcast in the morning. Light jacket with layers to shed after warming up on the trail. Was planning to return on the old toll road but turned out it was closed. This was the first time I used Gaia GPS app and it made choosing and following another route very easy. So we came back on Winter Creek trail. A little farther than we planned but still made it back before dark.
