Bugs were not too bad

Snow:

Snow free

Clear sky, gentle breeze, t-shirt and shorts temps — beautiful day for a hike!  There were random shallow patches of snow near the peak, only one of which was almost on the trail.  Google Maps and Waze kept telling me the 2 was closed on the east side between Wrightwood and Vincent Gap, but they were wrong.  Thanks you to everyone here who posted that the road was open.
