We hiked Ski Hut trail to the peak, then took Devil's Backbone down. Ski Hut might be my favorite trail in the within-an-hour-of-LA area. Steep but really fun and with great views. Poles were a big help. I liked the Devil's Backbone trail less, as it was a little less exciting to hike (the fire road at the end is kind of boring). The unreal view from the peak and the Ski Hut trail make this a great hike!
