San Antonio gets its nickname, Baldy, because its top is above the tree line. As my head is above the hairline, too, I have always partial. I went up via the ski hut, took a quick side trip to Baldy West and had lunch on Baldy. Continued to Harwood and then went to the Notch via Devil’s backbone. The last stretch on the fire road is not my favorite, but it was a gorgeous day i-n the mountains.
