A Mt. Baldy moonlight hike is one of my favorite hikes in the summer. We started at 4pm and basically had the mountain to ourselves the entire trek. We made our way up via the Ski Hut route and reached the peak to catch the sunset. The  weather was perfect and very comfortable the entire hike!

Took the Devil’s Backbone route down. The full moon was so bright I never even took my headlamp out of my backpack and hiked from the summit to the car just using the moonlight. Love that!

A perfect way to beat the crowds and enjoy a magnificent hiking experience doing this hike at night.
