We left from Trail Canyon TH and took North Loop to the Peak. The ascent had a few tough miles in the beginning and then a couple miles of reasonable hiking. I found the last two miles to the peak pretty tough. Weather wise, we were lucky, just a little rain and then cloud cover most of the way. I was so happy making it to the peak, that I could have skipped down South Loop. I found the entire hike very challenging, but this is coming from a 72 years old woman. Our group did Mt. Charleston Peak, again, on September 17, 2022, but this time we started from South Loop and down North Loop, which may be slightly easier.
