The trail was in really good shape for the most part, a few really sketchy parts that appear to have eroded a bit in the last couple of miles to the summit, so you just need to watch your footing.
Due to work schedules and family commitments, we started the hikes much later in the season. The parking lot wasn't crowded at all, nor were the trails. We had the summit completely to ourselves until we were joined by a really nice man and his pup.
It was a very chilly day, but made for some very enjoyable hiking! We didn't have to fight the heat!
