Got another “orphan” yesterday, Ross Mountain. After you climb Baden-Powell, 2000 ft, you drop down to Ross and then have to climb your way out! Started early, got to Baden-Powell by 10 am, Ross by 1 pm and then the big climb out. Didn't finish until 8 pm, two hours of dark hiking down. Got in just as the rain came in.

16.35 miles, 5049 ft of elevation gain, 13:25 hours of hiking!
