What a beautiful trail! Hiked 5.8 miles up from the Vivian Creek trailhead to High Creek campground with temperatures in the 60s to 70s, clear skies throughout. Ditched the packs at High Creek and hustled the remaining 3.5 miles to the summit. Hiked out from High Creek the next morning. This route offers a great variety of hiking: tough climbs, lazy stretches, some great views, serene forest and creeks. Highly recommend making this an overnight trip and taking the time to savor the journey!

I’ve done the same — overnighting at High Creek, though we woke early to summit in the morning, then hiked all the way out. Your photos provide a great overview of the different sections of the trail.
