Mount Baden-Powell is officially my favorite hike in the San Gabriels. The trail is so smooth and gradual, and the scenery is so beautiful with so many trees, including the awesome 1,500-year-old limber pine near the top.

There were a few fallen trees on the trail, and some tiny patches of snow, but nothing that could stop me and my dog, Haechi, from reaching the summit. He walked the whole way himself — his longest hike ever!
