Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

The hike started muddy and cold. The cooler temps were welcome while climbing steep portions of the trail – this hike is challenging but there are breaks in elevation gain to recuperate. Fog didn’t clear until mid afternoon and the views were worth the wait. Wildflowers galore!
