Did the Gould Trail up and back. It was supposed to be a 6.6 mi loop round trip, but was around 7.0 with extra walking around at the summit.
The trail was a bit untraveled and overgrown in a short section of the middle, but wasn't too bothersome. It was a nice moderate hike, taking us only around 3.5 hours including a half an hour lunch break at the top.
While the trail itself and views were nice, the summit was crowded with tourists that had driven up the auto road. Lots of people with lawn chairs were pick-nicking at the top. Glad we got this one in the books, but probably would not return here until less of a tourist-y season.
Did it with my dog, Winston. He had a blast.

What a handsome pup! How were the bugs, @marieralff?
They were a little gnarly at the bottom to start, but at least that inspired us to keep a good pace!
