One of my favorite hikes. We left San Diego 5 am and it was raining.  Clear skies and crisp air on the dessert side of the mountain. Got tickets for the 1st tram and were hiking by 8:30 am. Run into several hikers from San Diego. Weather was perfect and the views on top and along the way just epic. As always the photos don't do justice.
