This was quite a pleasant hike with very nice views most of the way. It was not very crowded which was surprising on such a nice day. We passed a large coyote on the way up and again on the way down.
it was a bit of an uphill climb on the first section of the hike and again right before the top. The top of Black Mountain is large and flat and we could see all the way to the ocean.
I would do this hike again!
