Bonanza Peak was a beautiful hike with aromatic blooming wildflowers were the bees protected their pollen and the trees swung in the sun. The weather was warmer than usual and had to take layers off to stay cool, yet once the clouds rolled in as a thin sheet of linen wrapping the mountains it was cooler and a lot more manageable. This hike brought a smile to face to see all the wildflower in full bloom that produced such a sweet aroma across the mountainside. To get the trailhead it was definitely no easy feat. You need a utility vehicle that can withstand all the ups and downs over the dirt (more like rock) road.
