Got a late start this morning (bad idea). Got to the trailhead (super washboard rough, but passable without high clearance as long as you are patient) and hit the trail just before 10am. Parking was pretty full, and the trailhead pit toilets were closed “due to vandalism” according to the signs.

The weather was perfect for hiking, though quite windy at times. The trails is in good condition, and wildflowers starting to bloom.

Met a few people also doing the Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge, which is always cool. Hung out at the summit for a bit and gave our two labradoodles a chance to rest and drink water. Unfortunately, the Cascades were mostly obscured by clouds, but it was still a pretty day. Headed back down to beat the rain.
