Not my favorite hike, shaded with abundance of bugs in the beginning and exposed and HOT at the hardest parts towards the top. Was still worth it.l, don’t know if I would do it again when I could enjoy being at San Jacinto or one of the others. Took us 11.5 hours, including breaks and lunch, because we took the road less traveled back, made for great memories. Took a friend who hasn’t done any of these hikes so it was slow going, proud of her for pushing through!!
