I signed up to do this to challenge myself. This hike was deffitnatly challenge. Maybe I underestimated the mountain . I thought 4 miles up then back, I got this. Well by mile 4 and still not at the summit I was a bit tires. Deffitnatly needed a bit more conditioning. But then I arrived to the summit and WOW!! What a view. Then to hike over the summit to the peak ? I was in Aw. Once to the peak it was so beaitiful . To look across and be at eye level with the other mountains. Just gorgeous. The weather was perfect for this hike. The first mile was a little patchy with snow then had to put on micro-spikes the rest of the way. Lots more snow the higher you got. Overall beautiful and unforgettable. Worth every soreness I currently have lol ??
