The trail is in great condition but, it seems to me the chip is significantly shorter and narrower than 2 years ago when we were last there. Anyone verify this?

We forgot to take pictures today because we've done this hike so many times. The attached picture of the chip is from 2 years ago and the 2nd one is at the end of the trail
