Ice and clouds everywhere. Icehouse Saddle was extremely cold as always. Sitting above the clouds and watching them move in the wind was an amazing sight… perfect Saturday

    Love that picture from above the clouds! Question: I was thinking of going out there, but figured there would be a lot of snow after last week. Apparently not at the top. Can you share what the rest of the trail was like?

    I would definitely suggest having micro spikes. A little after icehouse saddle people without them were turning back (a few brave souls kept going). Last two miles of trail is a combination of ice, snow, and mush.
