I went with my wife Olive Oil. Trail conditions were good with the exception of after the second saddle. The rocks traversing a steep incline made it so that there was little trail. There was no water after the Ice House Canyon creek. The weather was warm with little shade after the second saddle.  I felt good all the way until we got to about 2 miles from the trail head going down. I started feeling shaky in the legs. I'm a type 2 diabetic so we stopped to eat snacks and rest. We took 2 3/4 liters of water each with mio electrolytes. I carried about 400 mL of actual pickle juice and we rationed drinks throughout the hike. We had beef jerky, peanut butter, coconut oil, packaged tuna, mayonnaise, avocado, pickles. We ate eggs and bacon prior to the hike.  It was a Saturday so there were a lot of people. The Parking  lot was full when we got there at 6:40 A.M. We parked on the street as many people did.
