The weather couldn’t have been more perfect after experiencing many storms.  The sun was out but couldn’t have been more than 65 degrees. I’ve hiked Corte Madera before but second times a charm.  It is such a beautiful trail with breathtaking views along the way. It was my intention to hike this with just myself and my other friend but we ran into a hiking group at the top of the peak and ended up hiking back with them going back.  It was quite the adventure. Instead of being an out and back trail,  we ended out taking an alternate side trail back which is described as a balloon or lollipop loop.  The only issue with this trail was there were quite a few water crossings to go through and of course puddles too.  It almost seemed like this was a little bit longer way than going back down the way we came.  This is one of my favorite hikes I have to say and look forward to hiking it again and hopefully get to hike the neighboring trail Los Pinos too.
