Perfect day for this hike. Just past the saddle there were a few snow/ice sections in the shade. No technical gear required. Just below 8000’ there is a significant snow section that I used micro spikes and poles. Once past the trail was bare and dry for a significant distance. Just below the summit the snow started again. Couldn’t see the trail so went straight to the summit across the snow. Little hazy at the summit still great views. Would have prefer crampons and ice ax for the trip down. They would have given an extra layer of safety. 6.5 hrs round trip. Overall a great day
