Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

Beautiful hike. Trail clear until the final half mile, where the trail is intermittently snow covered. Had micro-spikes, but probably overkill. Trail just requires poles, careful footwork, and an adventurous spirit.

[Decided to bag Etiwanda Peak, since I was so close. Great adventure, but requires a lot more than Cucamonga at the moment. Lots of snow from Cucamonga to Etiwanda, trail impossible to follow at points. GPS and waterproof boots required.]
